ARVO-SWISS membership
Welcome to ARVO-SWISS!
As the new presidency term begins, ARVO-SWISS and Prof. Dr. Carlo Rivolta would like to invite you to become a member. Membership offers a range of benefits — above all, valuable opportunities for networking and connecting with other professionals in the field.
As ARVO-SWISS member you will:
- aid ARVO-SWISS to qualify for financial support from ARVO to fund its Travel Grants and other relevant activities in Switzerland and abroad;
- be eligible to apply for the ARVO-SWISS Travel Grant, which financially supports outstanding Switzerland-based scientists each year to attend the ARVO Annual Meeting;
- be able to apply for the newly launched ARVO-SWISS Award, which acknowledges one scientist each year for their outstanding contribution to a manuscript presented at a recent ARVO Annual Meeting, leading to a publication;
- as an award winner, you will be presented with a certificate and the special opportunity to showcase your accredited project at the ARVO-SWISS Award Ceremony, which will be held as part of the annual ARVO-SWISS Plenary Symposium;
- be invited and granted free admission to the ARVO-SWISS Reception organized in conjunction with the ARVO Annual Meeting (the next one taking place in Denver, CO);
- be invited to attend the General Membership Meeting of ARVO-SWISS, held jointly with the annual Congress of the Swiss Ophthalmological Society (SOG).
Moreover, you will benefit from the unique knowledge and cutting-edge insights presented by our designated speakers at the ARVO-SWISS Plenary Symposium, taking place annually in conjunction with the SOG Congress.
You will also receive internal information for 'members only' through the agenda and the minutes pertaining to the General Membership Meeting, regardless of your attendance.
ARVO-SWISS membership - which is a lifetime membership- is free of charge and is not associated with any practical tasks or obligations.
Both, ARVO and non-ARVO members can become ARVO-SWISS members.
